Rochester Boy Scouts will be rappelling 21 stories down the side of the Kodak building to raise funds for their organization. The scouts have been fundraising for the past eight years by belaying themselves down buildings. Among the rappellers will be Joe Aiello (eye-yellow). He is looking to break the record he already holds as oldest rappeller at age 91.
BSG will be hosting a Pro-Valentines Day Bash tonight and an Anti-Valentines Day Bash Saturday night. You can choose which side you’re on and celebrate the holiday how you want. Both will run from 10pm to 1am in the Union Main Lounge.
The BSR Media Conference is tomorrow! If you haven’t bought your ticket yet you can do so right up until the conference begins Saturday at 9am. It will start out with networking with professionals over coffee, a keynote address from WIVB’s Rachele Mongiovi , and three different sessions with the opportunity to hear from 7 different journalism professionals.
