After months working on a deal County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo and Red Wings President Naomi Silver approved the lease announcing that the Red Wings will stay in Rochester for at least ten more years. The Red Wings home opener is set for April 6th.

One person is dead after a fatal car crash in Henrietta Monday afternoon. Monroe County sheriff’s deputies were called to Brooks road around 2:45 to a report of a car hitting a tree. A new boutique has opened up on main street in the Village of Brockport. Lagom opened last month in a space formerly housing a vintage clothing store. The store specializes in selling handmade home and artisan living goods. The word lagom is Swedish meaning just the right amount. The owner says she was getting ice cream in Brockport one day and saw a vacant shop and wanted to use it for her store.
