Brockport Fraternity House Raid, Rochester Couple Arrested and “She Kills Monsters” Play

By News 4’s: Ben Hoy @benhoybrockport

A Rochester couple were recently arrested for creating fake immigration documents for people to enter the U.S.  The couple allegedly spent five years falsifying documents, and then used Visa’s H-1B program to get several people from India to illegally enter the U.S.  The couple faces charges of visa fraud, money laundering, false statements, and conspiracy to defraud the United States, and could face up to ten years in prison if convicted.

A fraternity house on Monroe Avenue in Brockport was recently raided by police for allegations of hazing.  The house belongs to the Delts, an unofficial fraternity that hasn’t been recognized by the College at Brockport since 2001.  The raid was part of an ongoing investigation by the Brockport police department.  For the full story, including the Police Chief’s reaction to the inside of the house, go to TalonTV.org.

The Brockport Theater Department will be performing the play “She Kills Monsters,” tonight through Saturday, as well as next Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and this coming Sunday at 2 p.m.  The play is a comedic story of a girl learning about her late sister by entering the world of fantasy role playing games.  Tickets are on sale at the Tower Fine Arts Center Box Office.
