By Violet Scibior @vscibior

Yesterday, a Henrietta man admitted to sexually abusing two boys and recording child pornography according to Monroe County District Attorney’s Office. Mark Buechler, age 45, will be sentenced 20 years in state prison and 20 years of post-release supervision on January 3rd.

Some bad news about your favorite breakfast cereals and snack bars. The Environmental Working Group found a cancer-linked herbicide in more than two dozen popular breakfast cereals and snack bars. The culprit, Glyphosate, is a main ingredient in Roundup. More than 250 million pounds of this weed killer is sprayed on American crops every year. Not to worry, the Environmental Protection Agency has set a safety level for the potentially dangerous chemical.

Don’t miss the performance of DANCE starting tonight and extending through Saturday. The show is open to the public and will be held in Hartwell Hall 166 Dance Theatre from 7:30 to 9:30pm. Tickets are $9 for students, $17 for general audiences, and $12 for seniors, alumni and staff.
