Thrift Sale, Two Stolen Cars, and Halloween Fun Facts

By Hannah Mau @mauhannah

Finding where to put used items can be a hassle, which is why BSG is having a tabling thrift sale this Friday in the Union Lounge from, 11am to 11pm, where you can sell gently used items.

In bigger news, two cars in the past two weeks have been stolen from a Penfield gas station when owners of the car went inside the gas station leaving the car on. Rochester Police say the gas station was not the initial target.

Fun fact: Did you know that Halloween began in the Celtic religion, and at the end of the summer the Celts would put up a barrier between our world and the ghosts. They believe the dead roam earth on this spooky holiday, and candy was used to appease the roaming spirits.
