Bills Halt Plans on New Stadium and Upcoming Off Campus Resource Fair

The Buffalo Bills are pumping the brakes on their plans for a new stadium.

The Buffalo News says Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz won’t be adding a stadium to the plans for a new convention center. He says the county can’t afford it—a new field could cost at least $1 billion. The lease on New Era field expires in five years—and owners Terry and Kim Pegula haven’t asked for a new stadium.

Students who want to move off campus next year can get all the information they need this week. Student Union and Activities will be holding an Off Campus Resource Fair on Wednesday, October 3rd from 11 to 1 in the Union Lounge. Organizations like The Brock, Brockport Police Department, and Spurr Dealership will be there to answer any questions students have. Students can also try to win prizes and enjoy some free food.
