New York Congressman Chris Collins shocked his party Monday morning when he announced he’s running for re-election in November.
Collins has been making headlines since August after pleading not guilty to insider trading and lying to the FBI, both federal crimes. Republican leaders in his district were already thinking of plans to replace him on the ballot and weren’t expecting this news.
Brockport is continuing to celebrate diversity on campus and in the community.
The college is hosting its 18th annual Diversity Conference this Thursday, September 20th. The theme this year is “Building a Strategic Roadmap For Inclusive Excellence.” The conference will kick off with keynote speaker and #1 New York Times bestselling author Angie Thomas.
