Early saturday morning 24-year-old Nicholas Iannarelli, of East Amherst died in a hit-and-run on Route 63 in Geneseo, Ny.

According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, the truck has been located and the sheriff says the criminal investigation is ongoing and no one has been charged.

New York State is about to renew a program that will help low-income immigrants cover the costs associated with applying for a U.S. citizenship.

The program, NaturalizeNY, is assisting in awarding vouchers to cover the $725 citizenship application fee for eligible immigrants which will be given through a lottery.

The funding comes from new york state and private organizations that also sponsor the initiative and to be eligible, immigrants have to be lawful permanent residents who are not eligible for a federal fee waiver.
