Chick Fil A Parking and Inner Loop Clean Up

By Terrence Dickey @Detron_J

Chick Fil A is asking all of its customers to remain from parking in the Mall at Greece Ridge a few days after it’s grand opening.

The new location in Greece brought in literally droves of new customers and they had an agreement with the mall for overflow parking which has now ended on Saturday, April 21.

Volunteers used Monday’s amazing weather to help clean the Inner Loop in Rochester as part of a statewide “Trash Blitz” which is in honor of Earth Day, which was April 22nd.

The Volunteers from the various city departments were getting rid of litter, sweeping the pavement and trying to keep our area clean.

Governor Andrew Cuomo has recently proposed a bill that would ban single-use plastic bags at any point of sale in New York.

The main premise of this bill is to help significantly reduce waste and litter in our world and spark other initiatives as well.

If passed, the bill would go into effect on January 1, 2019.
