Missing Soldier Found and Out Of The Darkness Walk at Brockport

A missing soldier from Churchville has been found. U.S. Army Sgt. Carl Seeman, 25, was reported missing from Fort Bragg, North Carolina on March 26th by a fellow soldier. Seeman’s vehicle and cell phone were left behind. Monday, however, Seeman was found and declared absent without leave. He has been returned to his family at this time.

Brockport will bring Out Of The Darkness, the fifth annual suicide awareness walk, next week Saturday, April 14th in collaboration with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among college students and the 10th leading cause of death among the general population. Donations to reach the eight thousand dollar goal are being accepted online now.
